Autobiography of Conrad Kohrs, [ca. 1919?].

Undated typescript carbon autobiography of Conrad Kohrs, a Danish immigrant to the United States. The autobiography covers Kohrs's early life and immigration to the United States in the 1850s; his travel to and experiences in New York, Iowa, California, and British Columbia; his work as a butcher, sailor, and miner; his encounters with Indians, miners, other settlers; and his life in Deer Lodge, Montana, where he settled in the early 1860s, and became a prominent cattle rancher.
